Well, still need to steel the Canon EOS from my brother but I couldn't resist making some photo's with my phone to share it with you. I have done about 500kms yet so I can now really gas it;) It runs and rides very smooth!

In the beginning I thought ..yeah yeah..I would just restore it perfectly, but now I think it looks great.
ReplyDeleteRugged!
Btw...new helmet?
Ow and I re-commented on your comments on the isey-blog.
Ciao,

Ow and maybe a stupid question..why is the label GS150? Was the original engine a 150cc?
ReplyDeleteHaha, allright, well I'm planning to ride it at least a few years like this, next little project might be reconditioning the original engine (than conserve it and give it a nice place in my bedroom;)). After these few years I might restore the GS completely, but I am not sure yet.
ReplyDeleteRestoring is something which (in principle) can always be done, returning to an original paint/condition can't be done.
The original engine indeed has 150cc, my replacement engine has 200cc.
I've already had the helmet for about two years or so, but never used it...
Read your re-comments on Isey, interesting thing, vulcanos, lots of energy(sustainable)...
